What We Believe.
We believe in one God who made heaven and earth and everything in it.
We believe the one true God is comprised of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, who are separate and distinct entities yet are one.
We believe in the authority of scripture to be the complete and infallible word of God and inerrant in its original writings.
We believe all humankind has sinned and fallen short of the standard which God requires for lasting communion with him.
We believe Jesus Christ came to earth, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died a tortuous death, was placed in a tomb, on the third day rose from the dead and is now seated at the right hand of the Father.
We believe in the saving power of the shed blood of Jesus Christ to atone for our sins and it is through our acceptance of this heavenly sacrifice that our relationship with God is restored.
We believe and practice, in accordance with scripture, the sacrament of communion. We invite all professing followers of Christ to celebrate with us in partaking of the bread and cup as a representation of the saving work Jesus did on the cross.
We believe and teach Believers Baptism, as an outward and public expression of the acceptance of the saving grace provided to us by our Heavenly Father through the work of Jesus on the cross.
We believe marriage is an inviolate, perpetual covenant, a sacred bond between one man and one woman, instituted by and publicly entered into before God, uniting a man and a woman as “one-flesh”.
